CPM are pleased to announce that we are recruiting for Walt Disney Studios! This is a fantastic permanent part-time opportunity and we would really like to discuss this position with you.

Walt Disney Studios are one of the main players in the Video and DVD industry and distribute Walt Disney Pictures; Touchstone Pictures and Miramax Films. Major brands need strong representation and that’s where CPM come in – employing a team of Retail Development Executives to work in our Home Entertainment sector on behalf of these clients.

What does the role involve?
Visiting well-known multiple retail outlets in the ‘Grocery’ (e.g. Sainsbury’s, Morrisons) and ‘High Street’ (e.g. W H Smiths,Blockbuster, Disney Store) sectors, you will:

• Build relationships with and educate store staff on the benefits of good displays
• Drive and support launch activity when required through flexible working hours
• Merchandise DVD's throughout the store; maximising client product space and focus through standard and additional displays
• Walk the store seeking further opportunities for product placement
• Highlight our client’s products through implementation of Point of Sale material
• Optimise the availability of client’s products through accurate Out of Stock reporting and use of studio hotlines

Hours:

This is a flexible position, with a changing work load each week based on the client's call file. The average hours have a wide range and could be anything between 0 and 40 per week. It’s anticipated that for approximately 16 weeks of the year you’ll need to be able to work 40 hours per week to support new title launches. However, you will be advised 4 weeks in advance what your working hours will be which gives great flexibility for you and us. The majority of your hours will be worked over Monday to Wednesday each week, although you will need to be able to work Monday to Friday in weeks where you are supporting the new title launches.

Remuneration:

The Salary is £6.80 per hour .You’ll also get 4 weeks paid holiday pro-rata each year. Mileage is paid at 30p per mile for the first 150 miles and 21p above that. All your other work related expenses are paid with a valid receipt. As an added bonus you will be using a hand held computer so there won’t be a mountain of paperwork!
