We require experienced General Assistants in York and surrounding areas to work on a full-time basis to provide a high quality service for elderly persons with mental health needs, and who may often present some unpredictable and challenging behaviour. Within a secure residential dementia care unit and under the direction of the management team, assist care staff when required in meeting residents, individual physical, social and emotional needs. You will be required to assist care staff in providing personal care to individuals. Previous experience working in a care setting is essential, but free training will be provided to meet Common Induction Standards.
