CARPENTRY & JOINERY LECTURER

£22'022 - £26'300 + 35 DAYS HOLIDAY + TRAINING + PROGRESSION

Are you an experienced Carpenter & Joiner and qualified to NVQ level 3 or Advanced Craft?

Do you have a teaching or assessing qualification?

An expanding FE college is currently looking to develop their construction department and therefore are currently looking for an experienced Carpenter & Joiner to deliver up to NVQ level 3 to a range of students 14 years plus.

This college has newly been rated a top education provider by their Ofsted reports so it is vital for them to recruit a highly vigilant, enthusiastic, passionate and engaging person as you will be instrumental in maintaining their high standards and drive for excellence within the construction centre.

In this position as a Carpentry & Joinery Tutor you will required to visit construction workers On Site and assess their work, enabling them to achieve vocational qualifications in plastering. The role is essential to the continued growth of the construction industry, as it will ensure the competence of the next generation of Carpenters & Joiners.


The Role:

* Teach and assess a range of students to NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery.
* Training on Dttls and V1 Award
* Be instrumental in the growth of the construction department.

The Person:

* NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds Advanced Craft in Carpentry & Joinery.
* NVQ Assessors Award (D32/D33 or A1 Award)
* Teaching Qualification preferred but not essential
