An electrical Design Engineer is required to operate as part of a team involved in producing engineering designs for all aspects of rail, industrial and commercial projects
Your involvement will take projects from conception to completion and will cover preparation of feasibility studies, development of outline designs, detailed design and site support
You will deliver design projects against agreed goals.




With a minimum of Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
Previous Rail design and management experience and for M&E installations is essential.
 
Designing & Checking electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 IEE wiring regulations,
You will have experience in the design of LV/HV distribution systems and electrical building services in an infrastructure environment
Knowledge of signalling power supplies, generator and UPS systems and points heating would be preferable
Familiarity with industry-standard software design packages is required
You should be an enthusiastic, versatile and committed individual, not afraid to take on a challenging role with the demonstrable confidence and ability to provide innovative, yet cost effective engineering solutions
Good communication skills are essential as is the ability to deliver projects to budget and programme with minimum supervision.
You must be able to work closely with other team members
