Our Client is a very successful company who specialise in the design, manufacture and support of intrinsically safe instrumentation for the process control and related industries. Distributing to more than 50 countries globally the company has an enviable reputation for supplying products for Intrinsic Safety. With a double digit year on year growth since the late 1980's, healthy order books and quality products, what career decision could be safer?
Due to internal promotion they now seek to increase their sales team with a Area Sales Manager for the North East region to visit existing clients and maximise the sales of their complete range of products. You will also be tasked to convert competitive accounts to my client's products and to actively look for new business. All of this will be done through a targeted customer visit programme and other sales activities. Excellent comprehensive product training will be available.
As you will be working closely with other team and company members you will be a strong team player with the ability to communicate well at all levels as well as work on your own to achieve results against set objectives and targets. A motivated and competent individual with a technical background and ideally a relevant technical qualification. You will have a proven record of successful sales ideally gained in the process control industry. Additionally any experience selling to the Process, Power, Water or Pharmaceutical sectors will be advantageous.
