My client is a popular vibrant Italian restaurant located in the centre of York. They are looking for a well presented experienced receptionist to join their team.

Your role

You will be responsible for meeting and greeting guests and dealing with reservations
You will work alongside the events manager to deal with enquiries in a professional manner both over the phone and in house
You will transfer calls efficiently and take detailed messages ensuring that they get passed on
You will enter information onto the house computer system
You will deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner at all times

The person

As the fist point of contact of the company you will need to be extremely well presented and have an excellent telephone manner. You will be professional and organized and have the ability to communicate with guests and the other members of the team.

Your requirements

You will have experience of working as a receptionist and experience working within restaurants preferable.
