PPRUK - Professional Pharmacy Recruitment are currently recruiting for this leading healthcare provider. They have a successful history over the last 50 years of taking care of people. Through a network of over 200 sites across the nation, they help people get healthy and stay healthy.

Expansion has created the need for a Technician to support the delivery of the Pharmacy service through effective co-ordination of day to day activities and to dispense medicines, under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist/Medical Practitioner. Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will be responsible for the provision of drugs to patients receiving chemotherapy treatment at the hospital.

Key Accountabilities
• To dispense medicines from clinically approved prescriptions in accordance with standard operating procedures
• To support the delivery of the pharmacy service through effective co-ordination of day to day activities,
• To provide medicines advice to patients within their level of competence, under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist/Medical Practitioner
• To maintain security of all pharmaceutical products in accordance with standard operating procedures
• To provide day to day support and guidance of pharmacy assistants and students

Applicants must hold either a NVQ level 2 or 3 Dispensing qualification to be considered for this position
