SWIFT RESEARCH WETHERBY. This role holder will be responsible for preparation of test products for sensory studies, including laundry and product handling tasks in Swift’s dedicated laundry and warehousing facilities. The role includes: Liaison with respondents and panellists attending for test participation. General hands on practical support to include shopping for products and supplies; labelling test equipment; preparing packs for despatch; delivery of products to ‘local’ respondents or to central location out of Wetherby. Applicant must hold a valid UK driving licence. Responsible for providing administrative support as required. This will include: data inputting; reconciliation of paperwork; general administration tasks including photocopying, filing, database cleansing, letter writing and other clerical tasks, plus undertaking quality control tasks. Candidates should be motivated, energetic and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. They should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, have an outgoing and friendly personality and be able to communicate with people at all levels. A good command of written and oral English as well as good numerical skills is essential. Overall, the role requires an approachable, organised, logical thinker who can follow instructions and work efficiently and accurately under the pressure of deadlines in a busy environment. Candidates must take a calm and measured approach to ‘getting the job done’. Hours of 37.5 per week, but a degree of flexibility is required to meet requirements for test preparation, including early morning starts, and occasional deliveries. Salaried at £13,000p.a., with additional benefits including private health care, stakeholder pension scheme, Busy Bees child care vouchers and 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
