Room for an occasional resident housemate?

I'm looking for some friendly people to share a house with, as either a lodger or a housemate. I work at sea for most of the year, and at the moment during my leave periods I tend to move between my friends' houses... but really I'd like to have a place to call home, even if it's just a tiny room in a shared house :)

I'm a 23-year old guy, friendly, tidy and easy-going, and don't smoke. I don't make lots of noise or come home drunk but I do enjoy meeting new people and would love to make some friends at my new home.

Rent I'm willing to pay is negotiable - if you're willing to reduce the rent for the times I'm not around, that's great, but as I say I'm happy with a very basic room and don't mind paying even while the room's empty if it works out. Likewise, area doesn't matter as long as the housemates are friendly :)
