I am the chair of the York Cancer Research Relay for Life. I am currently looking to get together a committee of committed people to help make this a fantastic event for the community & Cancer research.

You might be wondering what is Relay for Life?

Take part in Relay For Life, the inspirational community-led event that celebrates those who survive cancer and pays tribute to those who are touched by it.

Relay For Life can involve many things – a walking event, a party, a concert, a big day out. But most of all, it brings local communities together to help beat cancer.

There are so many ways to get involved, from entering a team to even organising your own Relay For Life. Find out how you can get involved.

What we are looking for?

Anybody with an interest We just want to find out who is out there and what they think about the idea.
