Starting secondary school is a very daunting experience for most children, but if your child struggles with reading & spelling it is even more daunting. What if there new teachers ask them to read out aloud? What if they make a fool of themselves infront of their new friends?

This is why I am offering a short course of 6 x 1hour sessions to boost your childs confidence in these areas. The idea of the course is to give children confidence and the techniques required to be able to complete such tasks. It is a fun interactive course that can be completed on a one to one basis or in a small group depending on your childs individual needs and wishes. They will go away feeling more confident and with a work book full of the things we have covered to help them,

You might be wondering who I am.
I am a qualified English teacher, who a significant level of experience in moving children on who suffer with such issues as confidence, reading & spelling.

The course will cost £50 for the 6 x 1 hour session and it can be completed in your own home or dependent on numbers in central locations around york.
