We are looking for a talented and exceptional General Manager to manage the catering operation at this high profile visitor attraction in York
The venue has a very busy café and brasserie plus extensive conferencing and banqueting with a combined turnover of approximately £2.5million.
As well as the two commercial outlets the venue caters extensively for conferences and banqueting which caters for banqueting events from 1-800 for a reception and 600 for dinners
Our client has built an excellent reputation serving excellent food using locally sourced ingredients
The General Manager will have total responsibility for the catering operation including its smooth running, profitability and development.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar environment, they will be financially astute, have excellent people management skills, have the ability to communicate verbally and written at all levels, be passionate about food and be able to deliver outstanding customer service.
