Are you a Dispensing Technician looking for a new challenge? Can you demonstrate an excellent understanding of all the elements required to run a Pharmacy whilst maintaining excellent customer satisfaction?

PPRUK are currently working with this leading UK provider of integrated Pharmacy services. Their focus is on partnerships with GPs and Health Professionals to deliver property, pharmacy and medical services across the UK and is central to the strategic direction of this listed business. Over the past 4 years they have grown considerably and currently operate over 40 pharmacies across the UK with progressive plans to further develop their network.

Key Responsibilities:-
• Receiving and collecting prescriptions following the SOPs as required by the RPSGB
• Providing high levels of customer care
• Assembling and labelling medicines with the full description of contents etc as laid down in the SOPs. Maintaining accurate and legal patient records
• Answering general telephone enquiries from surgeries and patients
• Selling to and advising customers on medicines and complimentary preparations; knowing when to make a referral to a pharmacist or other healthcare professional
• Carrying out any administration as required such as filing, end of month prescription paperwork and services claims
• Promotion of Prescription Collection and Delivery Service
• Preparing small scale or individual preparation of special ointments, creams, or mixtures
• Ordering dispensary stock, checking and accepting deliveries and updating stock control system. Stocking shelves, stock rotation, date checking
• General housekeeping duties throughout the store
• Undertaking other duties appropriate to the post as agreed with the Pharmacist in Charge

Applicants must hold either a NVQ level 2 or 3 Dispensing qualification to be considered for this position
