An excellent job opportunity has arisen in North Yorkshire for a Veterinary Nursing Assessment Centre Co-ordinator / lecturer in one of the country's largest colleges of land-based education and training. Set in beautiful surroundings this opportunity is not to be missed.
The successful candidate will be contributing fully to the colleges continued success. You will be developing and growing the veterinary nursing and VNAC provision within the college. You will be planning and supervising the training practice learning experience of their students whilst ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures of the college and examining and assessment bodies. You will carry out the responsibilities of a lecturer and teach approximately 37 hours per week.

Essential: Qualified to NQF Level 5 e.g. HND or equivalent in Animal Management/ Zoology/Veterinary Nursing or other relevant subject, Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy or willing to work towards these awards, Teaching certificate or commitment to gaining one in the required time frame, A units / D32 and D33, V units/ D34. Experience of being employed within a veterinary practice, full driving licence.
Desirable: A Teaching Qualification, Teaching experience, IT skills, the ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and occasional weekends
