This crib from mothercare is a nice alternative to a moses basket and stand. The stand is wooden and folds up. The bed bit is padded material with a board base, which can be removed. All that's missing is a mattress (it takes a standard pram mattress).

The fabric part is blue and white stripes and it is machine washable. This poppers onto the frame.
