My client who are based in York and heading for an excellent rating by CSCI now require a Registered Manager to take them to the next level and oversee the day to day running of this small care home. Reporting into the home owner they would ideally like someone who has experience in EMI. This is a hands on role where you will be expected to work 20 hours with the Service Users, administering medicine and other tasks to ensure they are assisted and kept comfortable and the other 20 hours will be spent in the office developing the business in an attempt progress them further.
A summary of the duties involved are:
To adhere to company policy / procedure and directives
Manage the home, effectively and to satisfactory quality standards.
Ensure operational efficiency and occupancy optimum
Enable all levels of staff to perform to their highest potential and where necessary address poor performance
Enable the development and maintenance of high quality services
Customer relations
Develop and build on contacts with regulators and contractors
existing and new business
Maintain personal development and progression
Maintain operational performance with regulatory requirements and company policy and procedure.
