Care Assistant Older People

We require experienced Care Assistants to work across York on a full-time basis to deliver high quality person-centred dementia care for elderly persons with mental health needs, and who may often present unpredictable and challenging behaviour. Within a secure residential dementia care unit and under the direction of the management team, staff will identify and meet the residents' individual physical, social and emotional needs. Previous care experience is essential, but free training will be provided to meet Common Induction Standards. Drivers with own vehicle would be an advantage but not essential.
