Guitarist looking for other musicians

I'm a guitarist, but out of practice. All of my old musican friends have moved away from York, so I'm looking to meet other musicians to practice, maybe write new material, maybe even gig/record.

The priority is to have fun, cos if its not , I'll probably end up putting the guitar down again for a few more years!

I play all sorts of music from Folk to Metal, Indie and Blues. But I would really like to play some 'buzz-saw' rock like early Smashing Pumpkins, and heavy guitar driven stoner rock like Sabbath and Kyuss. Recently I have been revisting favourite albums of my youth, like Pumpkins, In Utero, Holy Bible etc.

Ideally you will be 20s to early 30s, and want to have some fun with the same kind of music I do (maybe you have never been in a band before, or maybe you are out of practice like me).
