5 day working week, day shift 0800 to 1700.

An engineering maintenance supervisor is required by a specialist food ingredients company to oversee the maintenance schedule for a busy plant in N. Yorkshire.

Ideally multi-skilled with strong electrical knowledge, you will manage a team of 4 experienced multi-skilled technicians and ensure the PPM schedule is adhered to as well as coordinating reactive maintenance as required. The team works a continental shift pattern.

The plant is heavily automated and employs around 100 workers.

You will have a good knowledge of fault finding and repairs to electrical and mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs.

You will also oversee building maintenance for the plant and have overall responsibility for ensuring good H&S practice is adhered to.

The position will report into the production manager but you will act autonomously and will already be used to managing a small team with minimal supervision.

Due to the nature of food manufacturers and the specific requirements in this sector, you will ideally have worked in a food or drink manufacturing environment. FMCG experience may also be considered for other experienced individuals.
