We are a mobile catering company based in Knaresborough. We work at York racecourse on race days and do a lot of work at the YEC in Harrogate. We are looking for a key member of staff to learn all aspects of our business. Some catering experience and basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage although full training available to right person. We run speciality coffee vans and newly a panini trailer. A lot of work is weekend work but we need someone flexible - although we can let you knows days and hours some weeks in advance. When shows are quiet you will be required to do some telephone calling to help open new business opportunities.
You need to enjoy working with the public, enjoy serving food and drink and preparing it when necessary. Once trained you will be expected to supervise casual staff at busy times.
You need to be punctual, honest, hardworking and reliable.
This is an interesting position if you like being on the move and being in different places on different days.
Rate of pay is £5.75 per hour. This will be reviewed when fully trained.
