My client an agent of one of the U.K's largest General Insurance companies based in Stokesley & Northallerton are currently recruiting for an Agency Sales Manager to oversee the running of their sales teams within the two offices.

Excelling at building trusted, long-term customer relationships, their staff are more interested in the face-to-face contact and understanding of their customer’s needs, than the cold call and quick sell. It's because of this approach that they have come to be trusted as a local insurance adviser by so many who live and work in the area.

Their offices are expanding and they now need a friendly, ambitious professional with solid leadership and sales experience to drive the business forward by managing the agency sales teams. The role would involve training staff within the agencies and the coordination of sales and marketing activity within both offices, across all business and product areas, whilst achieving your own individual sales targets.

The key function of the Agency Sales Manager is to drive the business on in
line with my clients visions and aspirations by managing the Agency sales teams.
The role would involve dealing with the training within the Agency,
implementing their Agency standards and procedures, and will coordinate
sales activity within both offices as well as having a personal sales
target. You will lever more out of the existing staff and to look at
getting more "customer lifetime value". The role will also have
responsibility for managing compliance within the agency, particularly in
relation to sales. Personal sales activity will be across all of the General
Insurance products including Motor, Personal and Business ( predominantly
package type products for SME's) and will also be proactive in increasing
Financial Services and Risk Management Services activity.

Qualifications: 3 A- Levels (or equivalent), or appropriate experience ie ACII etc.

The starting salary is £23,000 - £27,000 plus bonuses.
