Phlebotomy Training Services Ltd is visiting York on the 5th December to deliver its 1-day Stem Cell Retrieval training course.

This course is accredited by the National Open College Network at Level 3 (A-Level equivalent).

The course has a duration of 8 hours, and is conducted between 9am and 5pm and includes:

Role of Human Tissue Authority and controversies
Stem cell retrieval sites & stem cell uses
Anatomy of the placenta and umbilical cord
Stem cell collection kits and the collection process
Stem cell procedure with twins
Timeline of collection process

Those wishing to complete this course must first complete Phlebotomy Training Services Ltd's 2-day Basic Phlebotomy Course.
