Room available in shared house in Thorpe Street York. This is a great location off Scarcroft Rd. and convenient for city centre, hospitals, train station etc.

The house has 4 bedrooms and shared facilities including bathroom with shower over bath, fully equipped kitchen and lounge / diner. The property is in good decorative order, it is fully furnished and a warm property with a relatively new gas central heating system and double glazing.

The vacant room is on the first floor , it is a very good size and has recently been redecorated with a new carpet fitted. There is a small secure back yard to the property with some room for bike storage if necessary.

The three other house mates are currently all female and working in the York area. Male / Female are welcome to apply to rent the room.

Rent for the room is £55 per week paid monthly in advance, council tax is currently £24.50 per month per room and gas / electricity bills are shared and average out over the year at around £25 per month. All in approx £285 per month. A deposit of one months rent and council tax is required and it is a requirement that rent and council tax are paid on standing order in the first week of the month.
