Reflexology Certificate Levels 1& 2

When: Wednesday Mornings, 9.30am - 12pm, starting Wednesday 16th September

This is an exciting course for anyone with an interest in complementary health care.

Discover how to use reflexology to treat yourself and others. Reflexology uses reflex points on the hands and feet to clear energy blockages and can be used to help a variety of problems including digestive disorders, migraine and fatigue

Give a relaxing reflexology treatment.

Treat common ailments eg, headache
*

Identify the main reflexes of the feet
*

Demonstrate an understanding of hand reflexology for self-treatment
*

Demonstrate an understanding of basic anatomy and physiology
*

Understand the applications (when to treat) and contra (when not to treat) indications of reflexology
*

Understand the principles and history of reflexology.

The course will use a ‘hands on’ approach to teach how to give a relaxing reflexology treatment with the opportunity to discover more about the treatment of specific disorders and holistic health care. The course is suitable for all ages and no previous experience is required.

A portfolio will be compiled over the 12 weeks. Assessment is formative and continuous. Set assignments provide evidence of achievement for accreditation through OCN (Open College Network) working towards a Level 1/2 Certificate. There is no exam.
