PROJECT SALES ESTIMATOR

Main responsibilities
* Preparation of detailed estimates for build to print packages and component parts
* Preparation of detailed quotations and presentation documents
* Issuing projects to the factory
* Liaising and selling to customers
* Commercially managing projects

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
* A good understanding of engineering principals, basic manufacturing techniques and automation principals.
* A relevant engineering qualification
* Is or has been a Draughtsman / Designer / Machine Builder
* Ideally worked within a sales environment and a client facing role
* Experience of AutoCAD or SolidWorks would be useful but not essential


Essentail experience and knowledge:
* A good understanding of pneumatics, servos, control systems, field bus, and robotics
* A good understanding of various principals including; assembly, handling, converting, packaging, rotary, linear conveyor transfers etc.
* Experience of estimating and general manufacturing processes - Milling, Turning and Fabrication.
* Construct meaningful and concise proposals
